HIV-Infected Veterans in VHA Care by State
To assist organizations with reporting to the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau, the HIV Infected Veterans in VHA Care by State report provides selected metrics for HIV infected Veterans who received VHA care by the state associated with the VHA facility providing the care.
- HIV Testing Rates in VHA
Reviews the current scientific and policy issues related to HIV testing and presents data on rates of testing across the VA.CY 2011 | CY 2010 | CY 2009
The reports include metrics on Veterans in VHA care including those who were (1) prescribed HIV antiviral medications during the calendar year and/or (2) ever had a clinical AIDS diagnosis based on an AIDS defining opportunistic infection diagnosis prior to or during the calendar year. Although eligible Veterans can receive care at multiple VHA facilities, Veterans are counted once in each state where they received care and once in the national summary.
